The MRIC funds a plethora of projects under its various funding schemes. However, besides funding and managing research projects, the Council also undertakes projects of national importance in-house, as per its internal expertise. These projects are carried out in collaboration with stakeholders made up of ministries, the private sector, tertiary education institutions, NGOs and international organisations. The outcomes of these projects are communicated to stakeholders and are made available to the public at a minimal fee. For more information on how to obtain copies of our reports please contact the Mauritius Research and Innovation Council.
Both in-house and funded projects are classified as either completed or ongoing projects. These are further classified by theme to facilitate searching for a particular project.
The following shows the trend of the Council’s research portfolio over the last ten years.
