Special Call for Proposals- Building Blue Resilience through Innovation
The Mauritius Research and Innovation Council (MRIC) invited proposals to support multidisciplinary research and/or innovative projects that can potentially improve and accelerate the national response to the challenges posed by the oil spill and to contribute to remedial and recovery efforts.
This Special Call for Proposals is now CLOSED.
Applications received within the deadline have been acknowledged and referenced.
We have received 56 proposals: Total project value over Rs 153 Million; Amount requested from MRIC over Rs 92 Million.
The Mauritius Research and Innovation Council (MRIC) invited proposals for multidisciplinary research and/or innovative projects that can potentially improve and accelerate the national response to the challenges posed by the oil spill and to contribute to remedial and recovery efforts.
Eligibility:
Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), enterprises, private organisations, public and private institutions, academia and research institutions.
Funding :
Successful Applicants may be awarded a grant of up to MUR 2 Million.
Deadline:
The deadline for submission of proposals was extended to Friday, 25th September 2020.
