Enterprise Innovation Booster Scheme
The aim of the Enterprise Innovation Booster Scheme (EIBS) is to help Mauritian companies grow, transform and be better equipped through innovation for the future and for the global market. This scheme is deemed to be a progression: from developing internal core capabilities to innovating for productivity growth and finally, expansion.
Fast Track Innovation Initiatives
The Call for Applications for Fast-Track innovation initiatives is aimed at supporting short term innovative projects in thematic areas. The ultimate objective of any proposed project should be the development or improvement of products or techniques that will benefit the economy or provide potential solutions to social challenges.
South Africa – Mauritius Joint Technology Innovation Program
The purpose of the SA-Mauritius Joint Call for Proposals is to facilitate partnership between South African and Mauritius start-ups, MSMEs and large enterprises, (in collaboration with national research and/or higher education institutions in both countries, where relevant/appropriate) for collaborative research, development and innovation (RDI) projects with commercial potential.
Special Call for Proposals- Building Blue Resilience through Innovation
The Mauritius Research and Innovation Council (MRIC) invited proposals to support multidisciplinary research and/or innovative projects that can potentially improve and accelerate the national response to the challenges posed by the oil spill and to contribute to remedial and recovery efforts.
Special Call for Proposals - Fast-track innovative projects to counter the impacts of COVID-19
A Special Call for Proposals was launched by the Council to encourage entrepreneurs, academics, researchers, enterprises and start-ups implement short- and medium-term projects that aim at improving and accelerating the Government’s response to the challenges posed by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and eventually contribute to counter the impacts and planning beyond of this deadly pandemic.
